Mission Beyond Borders: Kingdom Gospel Mission Takes the Gospel to Benin Republic

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations…” — Matthew 24:14

The call of Jesus Christ to take the Gospel to the nations remains at the heart of Kingdom Gospel Mission (Inc.). In 2026, that calling takes us beyond Nigeria's borders as our mission team embarks on a major outreach to the Republic of Benin.

From Friday, 27 February to Sunday, 8 March 2026, ministers, missionaries, medical personnel, volunteers and partners will come together with one purpose: to proclaim Jesus Christ, reach communities with the Gospel and demonstrate God's love through practical service.

Taking the Gospel Beyond Borders

Mission has always required a willingness to go.

For this outreach, Kingdom Gospel Mission will cross national borders to reach communities in Benin Republic with the message of salvation and the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Our mission is not simply to organise a programme in another country. We are going to meet people where they are, build relationships, preach Christ and serve communities in practical ways.

The language, culture and location may be different, but the message remains the same:

Jesus Christ saves, restores and gives hope.

Open-Air Crusades and Evangelism

Evangelism will be at the centre of the Benin Republic Mission.

Through open-air crusades and other evangelistic activities, the mission team will proclaim the Gospel publicly and create opportunities for individuals and families to hear the message of Jesus Christ.

We will also pray with people and encourage believers in their walk with God.

Our desire is not simply to hold gatherings, but to see lives encounter Christ and communities impacted by the Gospel.

Free Medical Outreach

The mission will also include medical outreach as part of our commitment to demonstrating the compassion of Christ.

For many people in underserved communities, access to basic medical attention can be difficult. Through the support of medical professionals and mission partners, the outreach aims to provide healthcare assistance to people who need it.

As we care for spiritual needs, we also recognise the importance of showing compassion toward physical needs.

Welfare and Community Support

The Benin Republic outreach will also provide welfare assistance.

Mission gives us an opportunity not only to tell people that God loves them but also to demonstrate that love through generosity, kindness and service.

Through the resources provided by members, donors and partners, we hope to reach families and individuals with practical support.

Every act of kindness becomes an opportunity to say:

You matter to God, and you have not been forgotten.

Providing Sustainable Help

An important aspect of this mission is the planned provision of boreholes.

Access to clean and reliable water can make a lasting difference to a community. While an evangelistic meeting may take place over several days, a functioning water source can continue serving families long after the mission team has returned home.

This reflects the kind of impact we desire to make—sharing the eternal message of Christ while responding compassionately to real needs within the communities we serve.

Mission Is a Partnership

Not everyone will physically travel to Benin Republic, but everyone can have a part in the mission.

Successful mission work depends upon those who go, but it also depends upon those who pray, give and support.

We therefore invite the entire Kingdom Gospel Mission family, friends and partners to stand with the mission team.

Pray for God's protection over everyone travelling.

Pray for open doors and receptive hearts.

Pray for the communities that will be visited.

Pray for the medical and welfare outreaches.

Pray that resources will be available to accomplish everything planned.

And above all, pray that Jesus Christ will be glorified and lives will be transformed.

The Harvest Is Ready

The Benin Republic Mission represents another step in the continuing vision of Kingdom Gospel Mission to take the Gospel beyond the church walls and into communities and nations.

Our previous mission fields remind us that there are always more people to reach, more communities to serve and more opportunities to demonstrate the love of Christ.

Now the journey goes beyond borders.

We go believing that God has already gone before us.

We go with the Gospel.

We go with compassion.

We go ready to serve.

And we go trusting God for a harvest that will remain long after the outreach is over.
